Hello Moms! I’m thrilled to be facilitating and mentoring Mom’s Morning Retreat for a full school year this year! Please join me for a meaningful and uplifting experience with moms who yearn for connection, support and wisdom on the motherhood journey.– JenLate August is the time of year when I sense the ripeness of summer set in as well as an undeniable exhaustion and overwhelm for the transition that sits just ahead. August to September can be a Supermom leap into another great unknown. We do our best to fall into new patterns with school schedules, after school activities, bedtime and wake up routines etc. and then there is the reality that it may not just fall into place so easily all of the time! Welcome to our theme this year called “Wild Mothering.”Wild Mothering can be so many things. Over the course of the year we will explore ways in which to tap our inner wisdom and attune to nature as a way to remember our essence and awaken our creativity. We will also remind ourselves on the daily that mothering is not a job or a profession or something to perfect but rather a surrendering to the journey and trusting ourselves in the process.See you Sept. 15th! Looking forward to our time together learning and sharing.
Jen Breen is back and we could not be more grateful or excited!
Jen has been teaching yoga and mindfulness at her studio, Bainbridge Yoga House, and in public schools for the last two decades. She and her husband Tom have lived on Bainbridge for 15 years and have four children – two at Bainbridge High School and two now in college. Jen loves bringing women together in a safe and brave space to deepen connections, slow down the hustle, and be seen and heard. She finds inspiration walking in the forest, in writing groups, traveling, pottery and hanging out with family and friends.
Jen is especially grateful for her mom friends and sisters who listen well, bear witness, and allow space to be vulnerable and truthful. She believes that Mom’s Morning Retreat is a special place – a “come as you are party” where you have nothing to prove or improve, and leave with a bit more skip in your step.
